George Washington can be fairly considered one of those people who transformed the history and economy of the United States. Thomas Paine was one of the most prominent political writers. It is not a secret that his art, especially pamphlet Common Sense (1776), became a booster of the support of the idea of independence from the United Kingdom. He also wrote a wide range of articles dedicated to the republican ideals and political revolution. Besides, he became recognized for his publications about the emancipation of African-American slaves. Later, he was also considered as one of the Founding Fathers of the United States since he inspired numerous patriots to declare independence from Great Britain. It is important to remember that a lot of liberals, feminists, social democrats, anarchists, progressives, and freethinkers usually considered him as one of the intellectual ancestors.

Abraham Lincoln is also one of the most prominent statesmen and lawyers who changed the history, business, and politics of the United States. He served as the sixteenth President of the United States from 1861 to 1865. He also became the central leader during the American Civil War that was known as the most horrible and the bloodiest crisis and the history of the county. Moreover, he became a central figure in the intensive modernization of the economy of the county. In fact, he played a major role in strengthening the federal government and abolishing slavery.

Booker Taliaferro Washington was another person who changed the United States. He was one of the famous writers, public speakers, role models for the youth and educators of the United States who became the advisors of the presidents.  To be exact, he worked a long time with Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. For example, President Theodore Roosevelt made Booker Taliaferro Washington the first African American who was invited to the White House. It is a mistake to forget that while supporting modernization, he also significantly contributed to dealing with various legal challenges against the disenfranchisement of blacks and segregation within the county. He became famous as one of the central proponents of African-American businesses in the United States, but he also participated in the process of founding of the National Negro Business League.
