The Pragmactic Sanction by Charles VI, allowing Maria Theresa to become the Monarch of Austria.

Treaty of Utrecht ending the war of the Spanish Succession.

Asentio Treaty signed by Britain and Spain. This treaty begins the most active period of the British slave trade.

25 February - King Friedrich I dies and his son Friedrich Wilhelm becomes King of Prussia.

George I of Hanover became King of England

Rastatt, this is a supplement to the Treaty of Utrecht signed by Austria and France.
