There are three parties played a vital role in Sri Lankan history concerning Buddhism in the year of 1752. They are as follows, 1.European Christian power 2.Buddhist Monarch 3.Buddhist King and two Buddhist Monks

European Christian Power

In Sri Lankan coastal areas many trading activities took place. This European Christian power is the Dutch East India Company which was very much interested in monopoly trading. This company usually called as United East India Company. The World's first multinational corporation which issued stock is this company which is established in 1602.For nearly two centuries it had more powers but its power was declining in the later period of 18th century due to corruption and all its properties and debts were captured by Dutch government. In nineteenth century, it was called as Dutch East Indies and in later twentieth century if forms Indonesia.

Buddhist Monarch

In South East Asia, this powerful Buddhist Monarch was king of Siam. In the history of Siam foreign affairs, the involvement of France made a turning point with which people converted into Catholics resulted in continuous crisis by military humiliation. In eighteenth century Siam with royal succession faced problem and even became worse when the throne were exchanged. Every time, when the throne became vacant, only an extraordinarily popular monarch could become a new heir and stick with his claim.

Buddhist King and Two Buddhist Monks

The Buddhist king was Dravidian born and named as King Kirthi Sri Rajasinghe. In Kandian period, this Buddhist king period was the golden period. The above mentioned two Buddhist monks were called as dynamic priests and named as Sri Saranankara and Upali Thera respectively. The former who brought the most political powers on that period was very well in organising, considered as the most powerful force. Siameese monarch assigned the latter who visited Srilanka with other groups to restore the order of Buddisht Sangha. Inspite of destructive attack, Buddhism had an appropriate place by subsequent  kings. In order to obtain senior monks, one of the dynamic priests requested assistance so that the Buddhist king made all the preparations and sent groups of Sinhalese envoys to Siam. This proves Siamese high hospitality. The Srilankan envoys were treated with great care and respect. In the year 1750, Sinhalese envoys reached Siam, which were nearly taken three months for them to reach there.
The Siamese king honoured the Srilankan delegation by means of the following, 1.Total number of 32 boats 2.Hundred boats by Siamese officers for third day 3.loud music 4.a proper resting place 5.horse drawn carriages. In the royal palace, there were 1. Royal elephant stables 2.white elephant covered with precious stones and gold 3.the gateway in eastern side decorated with lions and elephant’s figurine 4.six sets of gold parasols with rubies and sapphires on either side of gateway. At last, the king was seated on his majestic throne which was golden lion and he made an announcement that he would be very much honoured to send their representatives to Srilanka. The king ordered his men to provide good hospitality to Srilankan envoys and to provide good foods with gold and silver trays. Srilankan envoys enjoyed their hospitality and sailed to Srilanka in the year 1751.So overall, the credits should be for Dutch because they regain Buddhism from downfall.
